Prosperous Great Action (PGA) is a non-profit social enterprise founded in 2019, dedicated to helping smallholder farmers transition from poverty to prosperity. PGA provides financing, training, high-quality seeds, fertilizers, technical support, and market access to boost food security and agricultural productivity.
Our mission focuses on maximizing farm potential through expert advice, resource management, and sustainable practices like soil improvement, water conservation, and climate resilience. PGA also supports farmers in securing better prices by aggregating produce, improving marketing strategies, and facilitating bulk sales. Their long-term goal is to ensure consistent, high-yield harvests and thriving farm communities.

PGA has so far empowered more than 5,000 farmers and 105 farmer groups in Busia and Bungoma counties. We aim to serve over 20,000 farmers by 2030 - both directly and indirectly by improving access to farm services
PGA helps farmers push up the quantity, quality and value of their land and what they produce. .We share our expertise in growing the most appropriate and profitable crops - across the value spectrum.
PGA helps farmers gain access to high-quality inputs, improve soil quality by use of Grow-Mate fertilizer on credit, and we offer a flexible repayment system that allows them to pay back their loans in any amount throughout the loan term
We help farmers manage crop pests and diseases by providing technical assistance throughout the growing season – teaching them natural methods of control. We also help them access genuine, high-quality and environmentally friendly pest and disease control supplies
PGA teaches farmers about market fluctuations and strive to bring the market closer to them. We offer crop storage solutions and secure better prices by working with other farmers to aggregate crops and sell them in bulk – in order to attain better returns on their investment
We recognize the benefits of synergy. We strive to enhance value for our farmers through sustainable programs that benefit farmers like organizing agro-expos and networking events – creating opportunities for market access and benchmark partnerships to achieve a common goal.
